Friends of the Organ Pipes National Park

Friends of the Organ Pipes National Park use audio recorders to listen for frog calls and help establish the location and population sizes of the Growling Grass Frogs, and other frog species, in the Organ Pipes National Park. Friends of the Organ Pipes upgraded their recording equipment using funding they received as part of our Thriving Communities grants and sponsorships program. The frog monitoring program will support the creation of a habitat restoration plan to protect the Growling Grass Frog and other frog species in the park. Read more about the project.
