Community grants

You can apply for a community grant if you are an organisation in our service area who is:

• a not-for-profit community organisation
• an educational or health organisation
• local government. 

Learn more about organisations who have received a community grant.

We’re looking for projects that could: 

• provide learning and career opportunities in the water sector, like mentoring programs 
• support local industry, like research projects and agricultural initiatives 
• partner with our diverse communities, including First Nations and culturally and linguistically diverse communities 
• promote sustainable water use, like increasing tree canopy, revegetation, and habitat restoration.

Some examples of activities and items that we will fund include, but are not limited to: 

• program coordination and facilitation
• purchase of materials for events and activities
• skills development, training, and workshops 
• venue hire, including furniture hire or purchase 
• project development and resourcing 
• research and evaluation.
