This project will collect data from audio recorders placed in the park and use it to identify actions to protect and increase the population of Growling Grass Frogs (listed as vulnerable in Victoria) and other frog species in the park.

The Career Pipeline project will deliver a range of initiatives, including interactive educational programs and career expos to showcase careers in trades. Empowered Women in Trades’ mission is to see 30 per cent of on-the-tool trade roles filled by women and non-binary people by 2030.

Platypus Watch – Putting Perridak Back on Track. Citizen Science Project, $19,313
This project seeks to collaborate with research professionals, citizen scientists, community and environmental partners to research water quality in urban and non-urban areas. The research will then be used to build a case for protecting the declining platypus population in the Werribee River.

This program aims to assist community members in need of food and supplies by providing 24-hour access to a fully stocked pantry. Located at the North Melbourne public housing estate, the food pantry is accessible to all community members. It will be regularly stocked by volunteers with food supplies from Foodbank Victoria and will also be set up to receive donations.
