Our preschool program teaches children about water and why it’s our most important natural resource.
How the program works
We work with experienced educators who know how to make water fun for young children.
When you book the preschool program for your school, you get:
a 30-minute incursion given by one of our water experts (can be done online or face-to-face in the classroom)
resources to help children keep learning about water.
This program is provided free to schools in the Greater Western Water service area.
Topics we cover
To help you decide whether this program is right for your school, here’s an outline of the topics we cover.
Exploring wonderful water - using song, role play and our interactive water wall, children explore the concept of water, how it gets from the sky to our taps and the many ways we use it every day.
Water is precious - children learn about how to save our precious water with Sammy the Snake and Frances the Frog, a special treasure box and lots of singing and dancing.
