Recycled water carting
Recycled water carters are authorised to take and transport recycled water to customers in our service area.
Registered recycled water carters can use recycled water for various purposes, including street tree watering, dust suppression and weed spraying.
Approved customers who can apply to use a recycled water carter for these purposes include:
- commercial or industrial business
- council
- agricultural
- some residential customers.
A registered recycled water carter has a sticker on their vehicle that includes their permit number and expiry date. If a vehicle does not display a sticker, it cannot take water.
