Recycled water carting
Recycled water carters are authorised to take and transport recycled water to customers in our service area.
Registered recycled water carters can use recycled water for various purposes, including street tree watering, dust suppression and weed spraying.
Approved customers who can apply to use a recycled water carter for these purposes include:
- commercial or industrial business
- council
- agricultural
- some residential customers.
Your permit
- We've gotten rid of permit expiry dates and annual fees. Your permit will remain active until you request to cancel. If you decide to cancel, you'll need to give us 14 days’ written notice.
- If you're currently required to display a truck sticker, you won't be anymore. Ensure you carry a copy of your permit letter in your truck, as we perform routine spot checks.
