Find an approved product
Only approved products and materials can be used for pipelines and other infrastructure works in our service area.
Search the Melbourne Retail Water Agencies (MRWA) website for approved products and materials or email us to discuss alternative products. If you want to add a product to our approved list, please contact the Water Services Association of Australia (WSAA) for a product appraisal.
All network assets must comply with industry standards adopted by the MRWA. These standards include Water Services Association of Australia codes, standard drawings, calculation tools and specifications.

You need to get a dispensation if you are not following our standards or MRWA standards and specifications. You need to submit a dispensation request for approval before you submit a design verification. To apply for a dispensation complete the design dispensation form.
