Contractors working on GWW assets must complete our contractor induction.
Our induction process
Our induction process helps us to keep our people, community and contractors safe.
Follow these steps to complete the induction process.
Ensure you are accredited
Contractors
Once you have completed LinkSafe’s accreditation, you will be sent your company’s own individual induction link. You can also find this link in your company portal on LinkSafe.
If you are already accredited through ARCUS, simply register your company through LinkSafe to obtain this link.
Send your induction link to all employees and sub-contractors who will be working on GWW assets. Workers will be required to create a profile prior to completing their induction.
Sub-contractors
Request a link to the induction from the contractor who has engaged you to work at a GWW site. Send your induction link to all employees and sub-contractors who will be working on GWW assets. Workers will be required to create a profile prior to completing their induction.
Complete induction
After completing the online induction, this will be recorded in the system and we will be able to verify those who have completed the induction.
Photo ID
If you need to interact with our customers, you will also need a photo ID. Photo IDs are usually required for contractors and suppliers who are carrying out work like sewer maintenance, meter reading, sewer lining and CCTV installation. Contact your GWW representative to request a photo ID. You'll need to provide passport-style photo.
Site inductions
When you go to our operational sites for the first time, you'll need to complete a site induction so you are aware of any hazards at the site and understand daily activities.
Accredited contractors and consultants
Only accredited consultants and contractors can carry out water and sewerage works within our service area.
