The Essential Services Commission has confirmed Greater Western Water’s prices to apply from 1 July 2022.
Following the integration of City West Water and Western Water last year, right now we’re required to maintain two different sets of prices for customers across our service area.
The prices you pay will depend on where you live and which water corporation, either City West Water or Western Water, previously sent you your bill.
Your bill goes towards operating and maintaining your water and sewer pipelines, and we’re also there to repair them 24/7 if something goes wrong.
We’re also investing in the future to deliver major projects that extend the life and efficiency of the networks that keep your services running.
What is the Parks Charge on my bill?
If your bill seems higher than usual this quarter it may be due to the Parks Charge, which is billed at this time every year.
We collect this on behalf of the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP). It’s used to manage and maintain community places many of us enjoy, like our zoos, Arthurs Seat, Lysterfield Park, the Royal Botanic Gardens, Albert Park, Cardinia Reservoir and the Shrine of Remembrance.
Can we help with your bill?
