We’re encouraging schools to get involved in this year’s Trees for Schools program to help increase tree canopy cover and create more green spaces for everyone to enjoy.
Eligible schools can apply for up to 50 trees through an expression of interest process open to every primary and secondary school in our service area.
The Trees for Schools program is a partnership between GWW, the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) and local councils through the More Trees for a Cooler Greener West program and Greening the West.
Expressions of Interest close at midnight on 4 April 2025.
From classroom resources to site preparation, Environment Education Victoria (EEV) has everything you need to know about planting trees in schools successfully.
