Community groups awarded funding for local activities
7 February 2022
Greater Western Water has awarded $35,000 to 14 grassroots community groups, helping people across Melbourne’s west connect and celebrate what makes our city and towns great.
The sponsorship program supports not-for-profit organisations to run programs and events across our service area, from Melbourne CBD out to the growing west and surrounding regional townships, that support our community and help improve water education.
Funding will support a range of online and COVIDSafe face-to-face activities planned by groups over the coming months, from events that celebrate cultural diversity to programs that protect our waterways.
We’re excited to work with organisations that help make our region a great place to live, work and visit, and congratulate the following recipients of this latest round of community sponsorships.
